From the outside Rockwell High School is just like any other high school. Red bricks, light paint, perfectly cut grass, football field, all the works. Even the inside looks that same, wall’s painted the school colors of blue and white, many classrooms, a cafeteria, gym and auditorium. Yet the students know not all of the school is as it looks.
In 1986, 55 years after the schools opening as Ridgemont High, a tragic event happened. According to the schools history on the night of the senior prom two teens died. James Bradbury and Kathleen Moran were high school sweethearts, having dated throughout their entire high school experience. The story is that she told him that she wanted to brake up with him and he backed against the second floor balcony and shot her than stricken with grief of hat he had done shot himself. At the end of the night as couples began leaving they found the dead bodies of James and Kathleen, causing the school to be shut down.
In 1996 the school reopened under a new name. Rockwell High was soon vacated by students and teacher galore. Soon after the reopening strange events began happening. Doors closing on their own, power going out, books falling off the selves, chairs knocked over. The teachers insist its just bad luck but the students know it’s the ghosts of James and Kathleen. At the end of every year during the day of senior prom, the ghosts of these two students are seen arguing in the halls, and at the prom students can vaguely hear the sounds of two gun shots.
During the 2005 school year the ghostly happening got worse when two students were found dead in the same spots where James and Kathleen had been found. All the students believe that Kathleen and James are re-enacting their sad and untimely deaths, hoping to find a way to move on. It happened again the following year, now they fear about who will be the next to die. Are you brave enough to Tempt Fate at Rockwell High?
